Using it on Discord
What members see after stats are enabled.
Stats channels do not use slash commands. Once saved in the dashboard, the bot periodically renames the selected channels. Members simply see the counts in the channel list.
| Type | Template example | Rendered example |
|---|---|---|
MEMBER_COUNT | 👥 Members: {count} | 👥 Members: 128 |
BOT_COUNT | 🤖 Bots: {count} | 🤖 Bots: 12 |
CHANNEL_COUNT | {label}: {count} | Channels: 42 |
ROLE_COUNT | 🎭 {label}: {count} | 🎭 Roles: 18 |
The bot skips a rename when the current channel name already equals the rendered template. That means a join event or scheduled tick will not consume a rename when the number has not changed.
Fast member updates
When a member joins, PaulCLI calls the stats updater for that guild immediately. Other changes, such as roles or channels changing, are covered by the 10-minute periodic pass.
