Levels
Reward active chat and voice participation with XP, ranks, and roles.
Levels is off until a level config exists and is enabled. The bot grants no XP when the config row is missing or enabled is false. Once enabled, eligible text messages and active voice participation add cumulative XP to each member.
Text XP is random 15–25 per eligible message, throttled to once every 60s per user. Voice XP is 15 every 3m, but only in non-AFK voice channels with at least 2 human members, and not for members who are server-deafened or self-deafened. Both sources apply the XP multiplier and round with a minimum grant of 1.
XP curve
XP to advance from level L is 5·L² + 50·L + 100. The stored xp value is cumulative, and the stored level is updated only when the derived level changes.
