Auto Roles
Automatic join roles plus Discord button panels that members click to toggle roles.
Auto Roles contains two related features. Join auto-roles are granted automatically to new non-bot members. Reaction-role panels are Discord messages with buttons; clicking a button toggles the linked role on the member who clicked it.
There is no separate enable toggle in the current schema. A feature is active when it has rows: JoinAutoRole rows for join grants, and ReactionRolePanel plus ReactionRoleButton rows for button panels.
Use join roles for baseline access such as member or onboarding roles. Use panels for optional identity, ping, game, language, or color roles that members should be able to add and remove themselves.
Role hierarchy matters
PaulCLI silently skips join roles it cannot manage, and button toggles return an ephemeral warning when the role is at or above the bot's highest role. Keep the bot role above every managed role.
