Troubleshooting
Fix stale or missing stat channel names.
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |

| Counter did not update immediately | The periodic job runs every 10 minutes to respect Discord rename limits. | Wait for the next tick. Member joins also trigger an immediate guild refresh. |
| Channel never renames | The channel was deleted, not cached, or the bot lacks permission to rename it. | Select a valid channel and ensure PaulCLI can manage it. |
| Bot count seems low | BOT_COUNT uses the guild member cache. | Let the bot warm its cache or restart with member cache/intents configured as expected. |
| Template shows literal text | Only {label} and {count} are replaced. | Use those exact placeholder names, including braces. |
| Save fails with invalid type | The API accepts only the four hard-coded types. | Use the dashboard toggles or send one of the exact uppercase type strings. |
One row per type
Saving the same type again updates the stored channel and template instead of creating another counter.
