Troubleshooting
Fix command list, disabled command, and permission problems.
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |

| Command says it is disabled | A GuildCommand row exists with enabled = false. | Enable it in /dashboard/<guildId>/commands. |
| Command missing from dashboard | Discord command fetch returned empty and there is no stored row fallback. | Verify DISCORD_TOKEN, DISCORD_CLIENT_ID, bot deployment, and wait for the 30-second command fetch cache. |
| Member cannot see a moderation command | Discord default member permissions hide it from users without required permission. | Give the member the required permission or use Discord command permissions. |
| Moderation command fails after running | Bot role hierarchy or bot permission is insufficient. | Move the bot role above targets and grant Ban Members, Kick Members, Moderate Members, or Manage Messages as needed. |
| Economy command says disabled | Economy config is disabled for the server. | Enable the economy module in its dashboard area before using economy commands. |
| Level command says disabled | No enabled level config exists. | Enable the leveling module and let members earn XP. |
/meme fails | meme-api.com was unreachable, timed out after 8 seconds, or returned sensitive content. | Try again later; the command handles failure with a plain message. |
/purge deletes fewer than requested | Pinned messages, messages older than 14 days, or non-target messages were skipped. | This is Discord’s bulk-delete limit and command filtering behavior. |
Unexpected errors
If a command throws, interactionCreate replies ephemerally with ⚠️ An unexpected error occurred. Please try again. and logs the error.
