Setup

Enable level tracking and rewards from the dashboard.

Open /dashboard/<guildId>/levels. The page saves config through /api/levels/[guildId] and rewards through /api/levels/[guildId]/rewards. If no config exists, the API returns enabled: false, multiplier 1.0, alert mode CHANNEL, no alert channel, and card color #6366f1.

  1. 1

    Turn Levelling on

Use the enable toggle. Until this is saved as true, the bot ignores text messages and voice ticks for XP.

  2. 2

    Set the XP multiplier

The API accepts 0.1–5. The dashboard slider currently offers 0.5–3 in 0.1 steps.

  3. 3

    Choose level-up alerts

Use CHANNEL, DM, or DISABLED. CHANNEL requires an alert channel before the API accepts the save.

  4. 4

    Add role rewards

Map a level from 1 to 1000 to a role. Only one reward can exist for the same level in a guild.

  5. 5

    Customize cards

Use the Rank Card Studio and Leaderboard Studio, then save settings so both validated layouts are stored.

Required bot permissions

PaulCLI needs Send Messages, Embed Links, and Attach Files for rank and leaderboard images. Channel alerts need send access in the alert channel. Role rewards need Manage Roles, and the bot's highest role must be above every reward role.
