Setup

Create join-to-create hubs from the dashboard.

Open /dashboard/<guildId>/autovoice. The dashboard lists voice channels that are not already configured as hubs. Existing hubs can be edited, but the hub channel itself cannot be changed during edit.

  1. 1

    Select a hub voice channel

Pick the channel members will join to create a room. Each hubChannelId can only be used once.

  2. 2

    Choose the room name template

Use text plus {user} for the creator display name. Empty input falls back to 🔊 {user}'s Room; saved templates are sliced to 100 characters.

  3. 3

    Set the member limit

Choose 0 for unlimited or any value from 1 to 99. The same range is enforced when owners change limits later.

  4. 4

    Save the hub

Creating uses POST /api/autovoice/[guildId]; editing uses PATCH with the hub id, template, and limit.

  5. 5

    Test by joining the hub

Join the hub as a non-bot member. PaulCLI should create a voice room, move you into it, and post the control panel.

Required bot permissions

PaulCLI needs Manage Channels to create, delete, rename, set overwrites, and set user limits; Move Members to move the creator into the room; and permission to send messages in the created voice channel text chat for the control panel.
