Using it on Discord
Member-facing economy commands and examples.
/balance [user] renders a PNG showing wallet, bank, net worth, and daily streak according to the saved layout. If rendering fails, PaulCLI falls back to an embed with Wallet, Bank, and Net fields.
/daily can be claimed every 22h. If the previous daily was within 48h, the streak increases; otherwise it restarts at 1. Example at multiplier 1.0: streak 4 pays 250 + 100 = 350. The streak bonus never exceeds 500, so very long streaks cap before the multiplier is applied.
/work pays a random wage every 60m. /crime is riskier: 55% success pays more, while failure fines only what the member has, never below zero. /gamble amount re-reads the wallet inside a transaction so racing bets cannot overspend.
/pay user amount rejects bots, self-pay, and insufficient wallet funds, then debits and credits inside one transaction. /shop list shows all items sorted by price. /shop buy item is ephemeral, uses autocomplete up to 25 matching items, and grants the linked role if configured.
Atomic shop purchases
A purchase first debits the wallet and records UserPurchase in one database transaction. If Discord later rejects a role reward, PaulCLI refunds the price and deletes the purchase row.
